All vineyard work is carried out in harmony with the rhythm of nature, from planting the vines through to the harvest. Pests and ailments are dealt with preferably using natural methods. The aim is to foster the biological equilibrium of the vine and thereby strengthen its vitality. Trellising methods include the traditional pergola system and the modern espalier method. Grape quality is improved by rigorously reducing yields, a factor which is an important subject of discussion between the winery and the growers. Up-to-date knowledge improves quality.
