The vineyards are managed respecting their natural characteristics, and thanks to the close interaction between the vintners and Colerenzio's expert management, the natural elements of each grape variety are fully expressed in the well-balanced wines we craft.
Approximately 300 hectares of vines are cultivated in harmony with nature. The average age of our vines varies between 20 years (Sauvignon Prail Praedium) and 35 years (Pinot Bianco Weisshaus Praedium). The slow, natural growth implies a larger workload, but is rewarded with the intense bouquets and unique character of our Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero, Riesling, Lagrein, Gold Muscat and Schiava grape varieties. The Merlot has aromas of blackcurrants, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla, while the Pinot Bianco, ripening on gentle slopes with significant difference in day-night temperatures, produces a balanced, luminous wine with a fine scent of fresh apples and pears, elegant and multi-layered on the palate. These symphonies on the palate are created above all, to stimulate the senses when sipping our masterful wines.
