This year’s General Assembly marked a significant generational transition for Cantina Colterenzio. Niedermayr has served as Chairman since 2007 and has shaped the cooperative over many years. Over a total of 38 years, he made a decisive contribution in various roles to the strategic development and positioning of the winery. During his 18-year term as president, two major renovation projects were realized, substantially advancing the winery both architecturally and operationally, and defining its present-day appearance.
Franz Pardatscher, himself a member of the cooperative, now takes over the leadership. The winegrower and trained oenologist from Eppan, who has served on the administrative board for the past six years, aims to guide the winery into a future firmly focused on quality, together with the newly appointed board and the team of the winery.
“My aim is to face the challenges of the future with the pioneering spirit that has characterized our winery for decades and has made it a flagship of winegrower in Alto Adige.”
Alongside the election of the president, the vice president and the board of directors were also newly appointed. Benjamin Reckla will serve as vice president, supporting Franz Pardatscher. The new board also includes Georg Augustin, Hanno Ferrari, Maximilian Glöggl, Evelyn Hanni, Andreas Mayr, Peter Martini, Peter Mumelter, Alex Niedermayr, Felix Niedermayr, Ulrich Prast and Reinhart Warasin.
Cantina Colterenzio extends its sincere thanks to Maximilian Niedermayr for his outstanding commitment and dedication over almost four decades. The cooperative also expresses its heartfelt appreciation to all outgoing board members for their work and their valuable contribution to the winery’s development. With the appointment of Franz Pardatscher, Cantina Colterenzio sends a clear signal of continuity and responsible, forward-looking development.
