Traditionally called Lagrein “Kretzer”, after a wickerwork sieve once used to separate the skins from the juice, this wine is one of the world’s finest rosés: full-bodied, unashamedly fruity, refreshing and with vibrant acidity.
Cellaring potential: 2 years.
- Food Combination
An ideal summer wine, excellent as aperitif and superb combined with sliced meat, smoked, fried or grilled fish, pasta and dishes based on white meats or white fish.
Serve lightly chilled: 10 – 12° C.

Soils range from morainal to deep sandy alluvial.
- Yielding 85 hl/ha
- Wine Making
Grapes are destemmed and left to soak with the skins for a few hours. Then gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel tanks. The wine refines on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for a few months before bottling.
